Queen of the Pride
Just after sunrise, this lioness looked directly into my lens before continuing to watch over her pride and their zebra kill.

These two lions were only part of the magical scene I witnessed from our safari vehicle as the sun set over Lake Nakuru. As the evening progressed, the full pride of eleven lions rose for the night's hunt.
